On Dec. 12-16, 2005, SZU carried out an Indian Culture Cultivation Programme. During this period, a photo exhibition, the Vision of India--Interpretation of Indian Culture was held by the Centre for Indian Studies.

Moreover, three theme lectures, Tan Yunshan--the Renowned Cultural Emissary Between China and India, Indian Yoga and Indian Movies, were given by Prof. Yu Longyu, Associate Prof. Lu Fengpeng and Dr. Yang Xiaoxia.
